We are getting ready for our third annual parade! We are so excited and hope you all will join us. Rain is currently in the forecast. If it rains in the afternoon we will cancel the parade. We will make the decision that morning.
We need some help the day of the parade. Please see below:
UPCOMING PARADE:
Volunteers Needed - Turtles on the Move Parade, Saturday April 25, 2026, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
We need volunteers to work the outreach table, to carry puppets, to greet collaborators at the Parkside entrance, to set up sound system, to distribute volunteer vests, etc.

Volunteer Pizza Party in High Park to celebrate after the parade - Saturday, April 25th, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
We want to celebrate after the parade! Thanks to Volunteer Toronto we won a free pizza party from Panago Pizza. If you plan to join the parade please stick around for the celebration! CLICK HERE

MANDATORY TRAININGS AND RETURNING VOLUNTEERS MEETING:
Hatchling Training: This is the last date
April 21st - 6:30pm to 8pm - High Park. (Meet in front of the Grenadier Cafe)
***No need to arrive earlier that 6:30pm. We will give out shirts during the training.

Indigenous Ways of Knowing Training: ZOOM LINK FOR ALL DATES
Sorry to those who registered and didn't receive the link. It has been so busy! Before starting the Zoom training, I didn't have a moment to check the spreadsheet to see if others had completed the form recently as I thought everyone had registered already. Therefore, I am adding another training date to accommodate more people.
April 26th: 10am to 12pm in High Park; Meet at the Grenadier Cafe parking lot (if it is raining or winds exceed 40 km/hr, the meeting will be on Zoom)
OR
April 28th: 7pm to 9pm on Zoom (New Date)
***Unfortunately, if you are late logging into Zoom you may not be admitted as it is difficult to do so while I am in presentation mode
